Ravikant Kapur has won the Vice President post in the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) by a 50% margin in a historic election, featuring the highest ever participation rate—one in four members voted.

Kapur, who served as a Managing Committee Member since November 2024, is also the Founder Chairman of Wooltexpro. He secured major funding—INR 19.9 crore from MAVIM for women’s skill development in Maharashtra’s “Suicide Districts” and a ₹25 crore grant from the Ministry of Textiles to establish a dedicated Sportech Center. As VP, he plans to streamline EDPMS, align credit costs with global standards, and simplify the Ease of Doing Business for exporters.

Speaking on his new role, Mr. Kapur said, “I am deeply honored by the trust the members of FIEO have placed in me. The unprecedented voter turnout demonstrates our members’ commitment to progress.
