Friday evening at Hunar Haat proceeded with a melodious song journey, Bollywood’s famous playback singer Suresh Wadekar made the atmosphere melodious by singing superhit songs one after the other. Suresh Wadekar started the program with the aarti of Ganesh Gajanan Maharaj and after that stunned the people by singing one more superhit songs of 80s- 90s. Sung the memorable song of the film Parinda, the superhit song ‘Megha Re Megha’ from the film Pyaasa Sawan, which won two National Film Awards and five Filmfare Awards. This was followed by evergreen songs like ‘Tumse Milke Aisa Laga, Tumse Milke’ song ‘Main Hoon Prem Rogi’ from the movie Prem Rog and Iss Dil Mein Kya Rakhta Hai’ and the famous song ‘Laghi Aaj Sawan Ki Phir Woh Ghadi Hai’ from the movie Chandni. Singing ‘Ae Zindagi Gale Laga Le’ from the movie ‘Sadma’ compelled people to dance and after this the famous song ‘Sapne Main Miley Hai, O Kudi Meri Sapne Main Mile Hai’ from the movie ‘Satya’ and the superhit song ‘Chappa Chappa Charkha’ from the film Maachis. Chale’ and finally the song ‘Lag Ja Gale Phir Ye Hansi Raat Ho Ki Na Ho’ written by Raja Mehdi Ali Khan and sung in the melodious voice of Lata Mangeshkar ended its performance. Before Suresh Wadekar, Ankita Pathak and singer Bhupinder Singh Bhuppi stunned many famous Bollywood songs especially Kishore Kumar’s Haal Kya Hai Dillon Ka Na Poocho Sanam with a Punjabi tinge.
Altaf Raja, Shailendra Singh and Kavita Paudwal’s gathering will be decorated on the stage of Hunar Haat on Saturday evening under the shadow of Bollywood stars.
