The oxygen tank at Kurla Bhabha Hospital has been ready for 6 months and  due to non-filling of liquid oxygen in it has not been utilized. RTI activist Anil Galgali has complained to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and Municipal Commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal that the oxygen tank is not being used.
The process of installing an oxygen tank at Kurla Bhabha Hospital was started last year due to the outbreak of corona. A meeting was held on 12 June 2020 with the Medical Superintendent in this regard. Two devices with a capacity of 1 kiloliter have been installed and together they will produce a capacity of 250 jumbo cylinders which will run properly for 15 days. Last week, 35 people were relocated from Bhabha Hospital. If this system had been started, we would have been able to stop the harassment of citizens and doctors. Saying this, Anil Galgali raised the question that everything is ready, then why the oxygen tank is not operational?
