· Chief minister celebrates Diwlai with police force at remote Bhamaragad areas
Gadchiroli, Oct 25 – Stating that police force in Gadchiroli perform their duty against Naxalites by staying away from their families, chief minister Eknath Shinde said that it was happiest moment of his life that he was celebrating Diwali with police force by visiting them in Naxalite area to encourage them. He also stated that police force was capable of eliminating Naxalism.
Chief minister Eknath Shinde inaugurated administrative building of Police assistance centre at Dhodraj in Bhamaragad Taluka. Addressing the public awareness convention, he celebrated Diwali with Tribal and police personnel.
Recalling that he had visited many remote areas during his stint as the guardian minister, Chief minister Shinde said that Gadchiroli district is witnessing many development projects and his Government was duty bound to bring this region in to mainstream by creating basic infrastructure of roads, water supply, education and medical facilities.
Pointing out that for last two years there were restrictions due to Corona pandemic he said that people are celebrating festivities without any restrictions since it is the Government of common people. Stating that police was important element and Government stands behind it strongly he said that the state Government has done the planning in such a way that various schemes, industry would provide employment to people and improve the livelihood of the Tribal. Chief minister said that Gadchiroli has been transformed completely and one can make it out by comparing today’s Gadchiroli with yesteryears.
Director General of Police Rajneesh Seth said that it was a very happy moment for police force that chief minister decided to celebrate Diwali with them to encourage them and increase their morale by coming to the border between Maharashtra and Chhatisgarh. He said that it was because of support from the state Government that Gadchiroli police have been doing best job.
Deputy inspector general Sandeep Patil gave opening remarks and photo-frames of Veer Birsa Munda along with Veer Baburao Shedmake were offered garlands along with lighting the lamp. Chief minister also visited the administrative building
